Josephine is an actor, teacher and coach based in New York City
Josephine is a New York City based actor who has roots in a tiny town in Idaho where there are more cows than people. She has been a company member of the nationally-acclaimed Shakespeare & Co in Lenox, MA since 2006 where she spent nearly a decade directing, acting, and teaching.
She is a company member of The Humanist Project, a theatre company that devises new plays rooted in the classics. She is also a company member of Shakespeare on the Fly that explores what it is to create theatre the way Shakespeare’s troupes would have, performing with very little rehearsal (it is a wild ride!)
Josephine has been involved in developing several new works and has a passion for classic plays and how they can illuminate the universal truths about humanity.
Josephine is the Chair of the Acting Division at the AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts and a proud member of the Actors Equity Association.
